The Italian Cockroach? Ive had two terrible experiences in the last year. My friends and I ordered lunch the first time to find a cockroach in the fettucine the offered to give us a complimentry gift card which we denied. Later that year I ordered steak medium and spaghetti to go. When it arrived the steak was hardly cooked bleeding all over everything and the rest of the food unedible. i would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Fun and Charming This is a fun and charming restaurant that has been in Chico for decades. Everything is pretty much divine, especially their sandwiches and the roasted garlic appetizer. They put green olives in your beer glass and the salads are enormous. However, that being said, this original location is very, very superior in quality of food and service from the Skyway location.
Great Service Italian Cottage has great food that comes with great customer service. its a great place to take the family for a meal. it has a great atmosphere for people of all ages.
Italian Ristorante! Great environment and great customer service. I like the sawdust on the floor and fun traditional Italian environment that makes the experience great. The food is amazing and great place to head on a date or with family and friends. Check it out for sure. Buon appetito!
It’s with a heavy heart that I write this but this is our 3rd and by far worst experience at Italian Cottage. Last night we went there for dine in and we sat and waited for our food for 40 minutes. The waitress never came over to let us know where our food was or refill drinks. When the food did arrive the sandwiches were soggy and the had forgotten to cook the fries. You really can't go wrong with anything at Italian Cottage, I've eaten there several times now and everything is always delicious! Some of my personal favorites are the grilled polenta with corn salsa appetizer(an absolute MUST TRY), meatball calzone, and tortellini amalfi, just to name a few.
