iStorage was a safe facility, and I had no problems or worries of my items being stolen or storage unit broken into during my tenure there. However, the unit that I rented was supposedly a “climate”controlled” unit, but each time I entered, it was the same temperature as outside. The lights in my specific hallway were frequently broken, which made it difficult to move things in and out. My biggest feedback overall is the lack of climate control in my unit. Beware! When they say the monthly payments are subject to change…it escalated quickly. Not to mention added insurance fees.
BEWARE and check the reviews carefully.... I also recommend you do an internet search of their parent organization (istorage) the reviews elsewhere are horrible. Even the employees rated the organization at 1.7 stars. It would appear this place is running a fee scam. My bank flagged them after the 3rd attempt.
