Couldn't be happier with the new bannisters iStairs installed on stairs just built by our flooring contractor. The planning process was complicated for me as homeowner/general contractor on our 12-supplier remodel. Visits to the smallish iStairs showroom and conversations with Bryan (owner?) helped me bottom out on design and material selection. Mike, the installer, was done in a day and a half. iStairs was great. Bryan assisted when we wanted to make changes to the project. The install crew (John and Chris) was on time daily, clean and courteous and hit their expected completion date. The stairs look great and have added aesthetic and monetary value to our home.
We are a General Contractor, we called and spoke to somebody and they told us they sell stair parts, we confirmed that we can buy balusters and all the parts, but can’t buy skirts only. They confirmed that they had in stock newel posts and selection we can choose from. They told us that they are open until 2:30(google says they are open until 5) , so we left the job site to drive to the other side of town for them to only offer to pick from their recycle bin(basically things they didn’t use on their own projects- left overs)... read more
