So, I wrote a review about a week ago and have an update. After calling back Friday night and asking for all my money back, the offered me another machine with more features for the same money. They did come through, in getting me another machine. They still had a number of comments at times that irked me. I do work a significant number of hours and while the offer to walk me through the machine was nice, finding time during the business day was not going to be easy. Disappointed with the “service.” I explained the various problems I was having, and after 3 weeks I was told the mechanic could find nothing wrong. The machine still does not work properly, esp. buttonhole functions, but I am not about to pay another $179 to have him find nothing.
I can not begin to tell anyone how frustrated I am with this store. I bought a sewing machine there on Friday. The machine lost a stitch when zig zagging. I took it back on Monday. Was told that replacing the housing for the bobbin would fix the machine. Schlepped back home to North Bend after being told what they did would fix it. Started to sew and it was back to not catching stitches. I get friendly service and just about anything I need for my projects.
There were 4of us total when we visited this store. We walked in they were so friendly and ready to share knowledge, classes and what ever we wanted or needed. No one was pushing or ignoring you . They made you happy to be there and find this gem of a business.
Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable staff; great service; and good - sized store! I just moved to the area and am looking forward to making this my 'home' store.
