Established in 2012 by Massimo Tenino, Isola Pizza Bar is an Italian pizza joint and wine bar that serves more than 15 specialty pizzas using age-old family recipes, handcrafted gelatos and authentic Italian appetizers and snacks. The bar features an extensive selection of wines that are imported from the Rinaldi Winery in Italy. The ricotta mushroom, gamberetti and the 4 stagione a Modo Mio are some of their most popular pizzas on their menu. The menu also includes a wide range of salamis, bruschetta, salads and desserts.

Food was solid. The service was beyond horrible. They forgot our food order and wouldn’t acknowledge it. The lady that was bartending was beyond rude and felt that texting and chatting with her friend (i think it was Portuguese) was more important than chatting with guests. The server who forgot about food was chatting with the one other table in the restaurant and wasn’t attentive. This place is in desperate need of competent management.
5 star all around. Potentially the best pizza I’ve had in California and maybe the US (haven’t lived in NYC). Great service, amazing food, incredible desserts!
