I am not a fan of Dr. Ismail when it comes down to my autistic adult son, who is non-verbal. He has prescribed antidepressants and antipsychotic medications for him to take 3 times a day, a total of 10 pills and that's not counting his other medication. How would you know if he's depressed or psychotic if he's non-verbal?

Specifically Dr. Ismail has taken me in as a patient to help treat my “mysterious anxious mind that evolved over a long period of (life long years of pre-med ; in school working full time, and losing a parent).” I couldn’t understand what was wrong with me because I couldn’t seem to feel comfortable with other doctors not explaining the “why’s” the “entire realm of the brain.” I always wanted that in a doctor.
