I was super happy with this apartment complex until they decided to be manipulative . They knew about my ESA cat , even communicated about him during maintenance’s visits , but chose to place someone allergic to cats in the apartment and pretend they didn’t know and the try and bully me into giving up my child of 11 years . Absolutely shameful , and they refuse to apologize or admit what they’ve done wrong . I cannot in good faith recommend this complex to anyone due to that .
In my experience I had terrible service with this property management company they don’t take responsibility when things go wrong and they charge very high fees, so I wouldn’t recommend using them!
Management helped my roommates abandon the lease and leave me as the sole person responsible for paying. Horrible behavior. I've only been living here for two months and it was lease takeover. I cant believe they did this to me. Its shouldn't be legal. Lots of discriminatory behavior towards Black tenants as well. Black college students should avoid living here, they will be bullied and discriminated against by ISM Management and their roommates.
Multiple occasions where they promise you something and it never happens. Front assistants are changed so frequently, they don't know what they are talking about. One of them have multiple times changed their statements lying through teeth when we talk to the manager in front of them. (happened 6-7 months ago)
I’ve lived with ISM multiple times while I lived in Chico. When I first moved in, my parents and I had a great relationship with the manager, Catherine, when we toured all over Chico because she showed me and my roommates everything we might like. We left a deposit and after moving in with my roommates, each time we had a problem, the front desk people were rude. We had to reach out to the manager and she worked out the issue.
