One of the worst choices you could make. They attempted to take a big majority of our security deposit illegally without an itemized deduction and way past the deadline. When we threatened court they appeared to cooperate but that seems to be a fake thing anyway as we are still waiting nearly 2 months later for our security deposit. This company will do everything they can to not give you the money you are owed and it’s ridiculous. Beware!! Never answer their phone, you must go in person if you want anything done. Maintenance is fine, they’ll come fix stuff. But I needed help with other things and there is such a high turn over rate of employees that each time I explained my situation to someone, that person had left the company the next time I tried to continue the conversation (over a year lease). Apartment itself is fine, but bad management.
The apartment itself was clean and a great fit for a college student. Move-in was smooth, and the online payment system worked well. Management was responsive during the lease — at first. However, since my son moved out over two months ago, we’ve had zero communication from the property. We have not received any portion of the security deposit, nor have we been provided with an invoice or itemized statement explaining how it was used — which is required. At this point, we will be contacting the corporate office directly.
