I dream about this place. . . a lot! – I can't even describe how much I love Isle's Bun and Coffee. Their cinnamon rolls are excellent and so are their caramel and pecan caramel rolls. I am a coffee drinker and I think they make the best americano in town. Both the pastries and the coffee are very reasonably priced as well. No, they don't have a lot of tables but if they did, that would mean a larger space. Part of their cozy charm, in my opinion, is their quaint, old building. Great Buns, Coffee is not so hot – Great cinnamon rolls and i'm not a fan of cinnamon rolls to begin with. The difference, it's sweet without being too sweet. I also love that I get to control how much icing I want. the fresh OJ was great, the coffee was not. I'm a "transplant to MN" and i'm not a fan of the local coffee, but if that is your thing you will enjoy the coffee. Avoid Saturday mornings around 10am unless you want to stand in line for 20 - 30 minutes, but it's well worth the wait. Can I say that I love that most o... read more

BEST FN ROLLS IN TOWN. – Isle's Bun has THE best cinnamon rolls in Minnesota, if not in the midwest including Chicago. You can also get a great latte or coffee or FRESH Squeezed OJ. They aren't Starbucks, they are more of a bakery not a coffee shop. But try finding fresh squeezed OJ at Starbucks or even Caribou these days. Puppy Dog Tails – Yummy baked goodies. Very few tables. Coffee drinks are usually not that great. It?s ok, BUT I think it?s the only place in the Twin Cities where you can get freshly baked goodies AND fresh coffee at the same place.

Their "puppy-dog-tail" pastries give me reason to live. (Yes, I do have a life, but these pastries are worth going out of your way for.) Plus it's a serious bakery, with an odd-but-charming layout, great espresso and a cool neighborhood vibe. What's not to like?

Nice Buns! – ...but I go there for the Wonderful Scones and the BEST coffee in the Twin Cities! I am reluctant to spread the word on this place, but it is simply the best. And I like the people that work there too.

A quaint neighborhood spot serving up the tasty cinnamon buns. – In Short Isle's is famous for one thing: cinnamon buns. It may have a limited menu, but these heavenly buns are to die for. Parents treat kids and themselves to giant, mouthwatering pastries oozing with a delicious caramel, cinnamon and nut glaze that's out of this world. Sit and enjoy one with a cup of coffee, or take a whole dozen to work through a tough deadline.

must try at least once... – and you'll be hooked! A friend raved about the rolls here, but I was skeptical. Oh, they were every bit as good as she said, better even, a little piece of heaven right here on earth. The place is tiny, but the rolls, oh, the rolls are an experience you cannot miss.
