Just left this restaurant, we dine here often, and I have to say our server, Dave, appeared flustered and he did not have any patience. We started with an order of Calamari, requesting it be made the original way, not with the cashews, when did get our order, the Calamari was the worst we have ever had here, it was like rubber bands. I don't know when the menu changed to a primarily seafood-based menu (it's been about a year since our last visit), but my fiancée and I were not impressed, and we will not be returning until the menu changes again.
We just left this restaurant before even ordering food. I must say it was the worst service we have ever received. We waited at our table for 15 minutes before we had to request another waiter to locate our waitress. When she got to the table she, Denise, felt the need to tell us she was waiting on two other tables and she's busy as her reasoning for making us wait so long. Great Oysters, and the Grilled Grouper was unreal.
For date nights, or getting together for dinner with friends, Island Way is one of our favorite restaurants for any occasion!
Steaks cooked to perfection! Yum! Grouper was a little bland but super fresh!
Waited 15 minutes to get served at a bar table. Decided to get a table from the hostess. 20 minute wait turned into 35. Never checked on again by the bar staff. Decided to leave and bring our business elsewhere. Too bad it was our first time there. The people in business atire next to us were promptly served.
Moderate service, our server was too busy chatting with coworkers than he was getting us drinks or taking orders.
Elegant family restaurant, went for dinner Saturday and brunch on Sunday you get unlimited mimosa with brunch nice atmosphere.
