mrs walling Please try the charm and quietness of the cottages and houses they where just what i was hoping for. not holiday inn stuck in a building feeling. it felt like home on the beach if i had one dont listen to steve a's bad review i almost did and now realize maybe he had the problem very friendly owners who take care of your needs but also didnt bother us. nice private feeling beach and chairs and setup for kids to play also. very quiet and secluded feeling even though your steps from the main traffic was well worth ... read more
Cute little cottages These cottages are well decorated. They are typical up north style. They have chairs set up on the waterfront so that you can grab a glass of wine and watch the sunset. I would stay here again
quiet quaint....right in T.C. My husband & I, stayed here September 2010...what a charming place. Although it was a rainy weekend, we still had a small bon-fire and the cabin was comfortable. Other guests were having a BBQ, they invited us to join. Felt comfortable, owners very nice...a great hidden gem on Grand Traverse Bay. You feel like your away from everything, but it's less than a mile away from area restaurants & city activities...will come back for sure!
Don't bother, not worth the money. "50's charm" apparently means "minimal effort". We recently stayed at this location, mostly because it had a kitchen & was close to downtown. However, we would NOT stay there again. The day we arrived we found a sign on the office door saying they'd return at 1:30 pm. This was at 1:35 pm. So we decided to go get lunch and come back. We returned at 2:05 pm to find the same sign. This time a young lady who's family apparently had been coming there for the past 12 years, although I can't imagi... read more
