I was a little scared to start therapy at first because I didn’t want to feel judged in anyway, but Seth made me feel super comfortable on the first session and really made me feel understood and validated. He made me feel so seen during the first session it really made me have a positive outlook toward my therapeutic journey!
Located in an attic. Our first appointment we wanted to see if this was even a good fit for my son but they were very pushy with paperwork and wanting a credit card on file even though I was using insurance. When I told them I don’t want to sign anything until we talk about and decide if we want to continue. After 5 minutes I realized that it wasn’t going to work and we left. More about money than helping the kid.
Julie at Island Therapy is amazing. She was recommended by another mom to help our family navigate my son's ADHD. We've tried several other therapists with little progress and a lot of resistance from our son. We see the benefit of working with Julie daily in our household and, even with every week visits, our child never complains about going to see Miss Julie. Miss Julie is wonderful! She's very easy to talk to and has a way with children. It's been a positive experience working with her.
Island Therapy has been a big help to my daughter - specifically Emily Casey. My daughter enjoys their time together and talks about her even after their meetings are over. They have the convenience of virtual or in person and are always willing to work with my schedule.
