Best in the city, its a ghost kitchen and the food is fresh.
The food tastes like it came directly from Haiti! I am a regular here. I usually order delivery through ubereats or doordash. For some reason ubereats and doordash removed me from their delivery radius. But no worries, the owners allowed me me to use an alternative delivery service to pick up and deliver the food! They have great consumer service. My favorite item on the menu is the pate with griot, and pikliz.
Best Haitian food I had in a minute. I don’t live in Houston so I can’t speak on it being the best in the city, butttt it’s definitely top quality. As a Haitian, I can say it’s Well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Great portions. I have been living in Houston for over 23 years and was never able to find good Haitian food, fast forward to yesterday o found Island spice on Wilcrest. I have to say the food is very good. I ordered the riz Dijon Dijon, poulet en sauce, fried plantains, acra and pâté codé. The food was well season. A few things can be better for exemple the chicken was a bit too salty and the Acra was not crispy and it looked burned not golden so maybe they are doing it with flower and out too much sour orange but if they are seeing this r... read more
