I went to Island Spice in Athens, Al, with my husband and a friend after church today. The seating area is very casual and the staff was extremely friendly! The three of us ordered something different so we could sample several dishes: goat curry, chicken curry and jerk chicken. Everything was delicious! Don't be afraid to try a great place new to the area! We will go back soon!
Delicious! Owners are so nice, and the food is yummy and light!
Great food!! Jerk chicken yum, curry chicken to die for. Oh the A.B. sweet potato dessert is over the top! Will return soon to try the curried tofu and ox tail.

Fantastic! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I had the best "Jerk Chicken" that I have eaten in the states. Last time I had chicken that good was in Kingston Jamaica in 1993. Thank you for bringing this to the area. May you have many years of success ahead.
Good food.good taste.. had the Jerk chicken and will be back..chicken was tender and the cabbage was great
Good food just wanted a spicy version. It would be really cool if you gave the option of actual jerk chicken and the mild version. Also the fried cabbage would of been better with more spice. We will be back.
I love this place, love the whole family! Food was amazing and I'm looking forward to my next visit already! We had the jerk chicken and the curry chicken. The rice was great and the plantains are the best I've ever had!
