I wanted to switch to a vet closet to home and had heard good things about Island Rescue and thought i would give it a try. Well what a huge mistake. From the moment I walked through the front door to getting seen by the doctor everyone was so rude. The absolute WORST Veterinarian. Steer clear. She does not consider anything that pet parents have to say. Your pet’s health should be a collaborative conversation. When we questioned the diabetic food that she prescribed it was not a conversation. We told her that our cat was starving because he wouldn’t eat it and we needed to look at other alternatives. She told us “we can’t recommend that”, even though our alternative was more expensive than what she recommended and nutritionally the same. I guess she wasn’t getting “a c... read more
