My irrigation pump seized up after 20 years and I was given an estimate to install a new one and it was a little over a $1000. I took the old pump motor to Steve at Island Pump and Electric Motor Repair to see if it could be salvaged. Turns out the capacitor was blown and there was a lose screw trapped in the impeller which caused the capacitor to blow. Steve repaired the pump and it runs like new, all for $250. Island Pump is great! Steve is very knowledgeable and quickly rebuilt my irrigation pump. I had an issue a few weeks after installation not related to Island Pump and Steve answered the phone on a Saturday and gave me some advice. Pump is up and running again!!! Great customer service and best of all, a local shop!! A++++

Steve and team always do outstanding work! I bought my Pump there many years ago, my well was broken for quite a while, and I didn’t use the pump… I took it into Steve and he repaired it and it is working Very, very well! Rather than buy a new pump that wouldn’t be as good, Great job restoring my old pump that will last very long time! Great work!!
