Our second time going to Island Pet Urgent Care with our dog, Bear, who can’t seem to stop eating things he shouldn’t. We received prompt and great care from all staff - I wish Dr. Maston could be our primary vet!
While on vacation our dog ate something toxic. We called and were told to come right in. We arrived at 11:15pm and they were waiting on us, took our dog back immediately and induced vomiting. The staff and doctor were very caring and friendly. The doctor came out and explained everything, said she felt our dog would be fine but what symptoms to watch for for the next few days just in case. Our dog is fine now. I highly recommend this practice. The cost of care was reasonable too.
I was exceptionally pleased with the care our 100lb cane corso received for an abrupt onset of not being able to bear any weight on her front foot. All staff were incredibly compassionate, professional and great with our not so friendly dog in a very stressful situation. Dr. Odle was very thorough and listened to any and all suggestions while making sure our baby received the best care. Hopefully nothing like this happens again any time soon, but if it does, I know where we'll go!
Really wonderful staff and location. Everyone on staff took their time taking care of my sick dog and explained everything to me very clearly. Quality of care is amazing.
I have never been more impressed with a veterinarian office. And that’s saying something considering the scary situation we are here for. This staff goes so far above and beyond. They called every emergency veterinary office in this county to find what we needed for our cat’s surgery. I cannot stress how empathetic and caring they are and the effort they put in to do everything they can to make it as affordable as possible. I will take every pet I ever have here for emergency reasons. Thank you Island Pet Urgent Care.
