Been coming here with my 3 dogs that include a miniature Yorker and a large hairy border collie cross lab and Althea they get anxious-island paw has always done a great job and been very gentle

We switched from Petsmart to Island Paw in 2014 and never looked back. This is a wonderful family business that we're very lucky to have in Vista. ( ...and yes, Ester really is a dog whisperer)
They handle my small Chihuahua very well. He hates getting his toenails clipped! The task gives me too much anxiety to do myself but, this something that must be done. They are fast and very loving. I never worry when handing him over to them. I highly recommend them !
I can't say enough about Island Paw. It's a family run business by one of the nicest families I know. Ester is a true 'dog whisperer', and her love of dogs is immediately felt. She and her daughter Maria are the best! Before Island Paw, my dog was very nervous and hated going to the groomer. Now he goes right in and jumps into Ester's arms.
