RecommendedDr. Marcia Ratner is the most competent, caring and honest vet I have ever used. She has been my vet for 20 years. I highly recommend her.
Our family ONLY Trusts All of our Beloved cats in the hands of Dr. Ratner.. She treats all of her "patients " as though they were her very own.. NEVR GO THIS VET EVER! She shouldn't be a Vet at all. I took a 2 week old kitten sick. I found her behind my shed this vet didnt give a promper check up and didnt get mites out of ears and charged me $70 for nothing. Then I noticed marks on myself went to the dermatologist and they confirmed it was RINGWORM! NOW I HAVE IT, MY MOM AND 3 OF MY FRIENDS have it! Let me first say we are new patients at Island Park Animal Hospital. For the past 4 months, Dr. Ratner has been my lifeline to sanity. I have 2 senior dogs, 1 senior cat and a 6 year old cat. In the past 4 months, our Bichon Frise Charlie (11) has been diagnosed with diabetes and most recently, our Havanese Joey (10) has been diagnosed with cancer. They are so awesome! Took my sick kitty as an emergency. Kind and caring and didn’t kill us with charges.
