Do yourself a favor and use the bathroom when you're there. You have to go past the sink where they wash the dishes. I've never been so disgusted in my life. Also....when you leave there, wash your hair and clothes. You'll smell like old grease when you leave. It's a filthy, disgusting place and I don't know why the health department hasn't shut them down yet.
$1 Beers!! Good food!! Nice atmosphere!! But the best part of the Island Outpost is, hands down, the Owners! They are the absolute friendliest, most generous, genuine people I've had the pleasure to meet. Thank you so much for welcoming me and my extended family into your awesome business during my niece's wedding weekend. What might have been a fun time on the island, you guys made one of the best times of our lives! Sooooo much fun! I highly recommend Island Outpost!!!
Absolutely addicting barbecue and the fresh fried potato chips are better that grandma made -- it's a MUST place to bring all our city folk friends when they come up to the Nature Coast to visit us retired folks living in pardise....and the new gift store has local artists work and clever items you might not need but you'll end up bringing home with you. A treat you really shouldn't deprive yourselves of.
