He's very skilled and knowledgeable.
Dr. Michael Chen is an excellent ortho trauma surgeon - to the point that 4 months after fracturing my 75 year old acetabulum (hip socket), I am now riding my bike outside again for rides in excess of two hours, often with steep, 7+% grades. He is also just a really nice guy.
I had surgery back on Sept 1st at Castle Hospital in Kailua because I had a broken Tibia, torn meniscus, ACL and MCL and a dislocated knee. I was rushed to emergency on that Sunday around noon. I was scared and in so much pain. When the ER Dr. and the nurses assess my injuries it wasn’t even long before Dr Michael Chen arrived to the hospital and immediately took me into surgery to stabilize my knee.
