I had a really disappointing experience at Island Nails in Port Aransas. My mother-in-law called ahead and scheduled an appointment for four people at 12:00 PM. Initially they said they were booked, but then called her back and confirmed they could accommodate all four of us at that time. When we arrived, the woman working there immediately argued with us and claimed the appointment was only for one person, which was absolutely not what was discussed on the phone. Fantastic pedicure. One of the most relaxing I have ever had. They use fresh grapefruit, hot stones, and lots of lotion. It was sublime!
It's a little pricey, but they did a really good job. Vivian took really good care of me, she was really professional and made my experience there super quick and easy!! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done
Oh my word! Never have I had such an outstanding pedicure! Not on cruise ships not at high end resorts. What a fantastic find and a dreamy 1 1/2 hour experience! I believe there are less long pedicures if you have a time restriction. Fortunately, for me, I didn’t. I cannot say enough good things about my experience there so I will just say “do not hesitate to go and get truly pampered “! Went in for an ombre nail fill. The owner said she was the only one who knew how to do it. Well, she didn't! Terrible job. Left with thick nails from too much product, ombre looked horrendous and product overload on back of nails. I will not go back.
