I have just read the 2 reviews that were posted here and I am shocked. I have been coming to this Dr.'s office for around 20 years and I have never had any issues with the staff including billing. My current job is with a small Company and the insurance is too high for me to carry and the Dr.s have been great about working out the cost of visits. Also with helping me out with samples of Antiboitics when they can and getting extreamly expensive tests such as X-Rays and even MRI's for Free! Every time I need to make an appoint... read more

My name is Christopher and i was a patient of the Island medical Care of Medford but no more!!! First off I went there to be seen today and the office lady in the front told me there was a flag on my Acct...From there she called someone in the back and told me i had a unpaid balance of $26.50....???From there i asked where this 26.50 came from and she told me it was because they were charging me $12.00 co pay instead of $15.00 copay...She told me they charge Intrest on the unpaid balance..I spoke to the office manger and she... read more

Even after my insurance had paid the bill, I was being a charge a ridiculous $5.00 fee. Which I paid just to get it over with. After several months, when I though everything was resolved I got another bill stating that I had never paid the $5.00 and that now I owe $40.00, even after I had paid the $5.00 personally!!! Apparently the person I gave the money never made a record of it and my account was still outstanding, within a week of the first notice I had been sent to collection.
