Today was my first time at this vet. My 16 year old dog Phoebe had green goo really bad coming out of one of her eyes. My regular vet would not accommodate her to get her in even though it was an emergency as it was an infection in her eye. I called Island Lake as they are in the area. They were also fully booked, but, made time to see Pheebs without even being an established patient. Everyone was so caring and kind. Dr Max has done an amazing job on Nikas surgery. The technicians are great and always helpful. Thanks to all of you for keeping Nika young at 10 yrs old.
Best experience you will ever have at the vet! The staff is caring and very compassionate. They help financially as much as they can. They work hard to accommodate any special circumstances. AND most importantly they listen and do an excellent job diagnosing and treating even the most difficult and confusing ailments. Without them, or beloved pet foofoo wouldn't still be here with us! Thank you Island Lake Vet! Knowing that you're right in our neighborhood gives us peace of mind :)
Doctor Max is really great! Dr. Max has been able to figure out things w/my 12yr. dog that other vets couldn't! Just because someone says they can look at your pet doesn't always mean they're gonna know what they're looking at, and he seemed very knowledgeable about all the curve balls I've taken to him! He n his staff are very knowledgeable and courteous! Best veterinarian I've ever brought my BEST FRIEND to! (Remember that when picking one, they're not just "animals," they're your best friend too!)
Our experience at Island Lake Vet Clinic is ALWAYS a positive one. The docs and nurses are always pleasant and show how much they care for our pets. We have been here numerous times, some not so fun like surgeries for our kitty Franklin and Dr. Max and nurses are so caring. This past visit was just a check up for Wilbur and Franklin thank goodness but as usual a positive experience. We highly recommend them. Affordable AND our appointments are always on time.
Friendly, caring Vets and staff. This was Rigby's first visit to the clinic and you would have thought he was greeting his long lost relatives. Dogs are excellent judges of character :)
