It's 2020 but some companies like this one seem to have their mindset stuck in the dark ages. My moral standards can't recommend Island Insurance by any means. Discrimination is not ok.

Firstly, they need to improve on responding in a timely manner. Taking eight days to get back after receiving an estimate from the repair workshop is unacceptable. And arrange a replacement to handle open claim cases when the claim officer is on vacation instead of leaving and having the client find out when attempting to contact the person. And do the right thing (be PONO) when you drop the ball instead of sticking to the policies that are there as guidance and not a strict law.
