First time here, was absolutely thrilled with my cut and color! Exactly what I requested, and came out feeling and looking 10 years younger! I'm a total fan! Highly recommend!
John didn't communicate about what he was doing and removed hairs without asking. Completely ruined 2-3 years of hair growth. I can barely go outside or even operate anymore. He removed hairs close to the root and didn't ask anything about my hair. Communicate with your clients, ask questions, and show them what you're going to do. Do not ever assume you're helping. He left a mean and illogical voicemail as well.
Avery did an amazing job on my hair, it was a mess of “at home colour” and she managed to make it look stunning. For someone who is still new to the game she did a phenomenal job. I would highly recommend seeing her if you want to get highlights (or other services) she also charges a really reasonable rate:))
Had the chance to meet Avery yesterday and I had an amazing experience at the salon! She prioritizes her client's vision and checks in throughout the process. Her attention to detail is impressive for a rising stylist. We recently just moved in the valley and she’s a wealth of knowledge for all things Comox Valley. Pretty sure all her clients leave the salon feeling both beautiful and uplifted like I did. Merci Avery! :)
The staff at island inspirations are soooo lovely, such fun and kind people I have never met a better team in a work environment than I have at the salon. I’ve been in awe at some of the work I see coming out of here and John has even found ways to adapt to my severe allergies to hair colour to give me the hair I love. 10000/10
