I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Smith and staff at Island Foot Clinics. Dr. Smith took the time to thoroughly examine my feet, and explained my condition in a way that was easy to understand. She answered all my questions and concerns. Her genuine care for my well being was very evident. I would NEVER choose this clinic! The front staff are profoundly unprofessional. I sat in their waiting room and listened to them swear, mock people and listen to private voice messages on speaker phone. It was non stop complaining and complete disregard to the fact that I could hear every word they said about their clients. It was the worst experience and I was incomplete shock.
This review is long overdue. I was in to see Dr. Brooke Smith on April 1st to treat what I thought was a persistent painful wart, when in-fact Dr. Smith informed me it was actually a callus. It has now been 2 months since she treated the callus and I have had zero pain in my ring toe on my left foot. Thank you for the great care you took in relieving my pain and thank you also to your medical office receptionist who was very friendly and professional.
Poor service. I went in for information about one thing and the dr didn't really seem interested in listening to what I wanted. Walked in saying "you need orthotics" before he had even examined me. Then later when I called back asking for the orthotic recommendation prescription they very rudely refused to provide it for my insurance to preauth and said I was being fraudulent.
I saw Dr. Smith in Kelowna about a month ago - Awesome doctor by the way. My review is about Debbie the Office Manager. I had some difficulty with my Insurance claim. She went above and beyond her job to help me clear up the problem I was having. Not often these days someone gives a hoot. Thanks for your help I will be sure to share my experience with friends and family.
