I complained about a back problem. This doctor x-rayed my back and told me to exercise more. When I knew that was BS, I went to another doctor who took the time to diagnose me as having Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Ignoring it or exercising the wrong ways might have put me in a wheelchair, so I do not appreciate this doctor’s flippant dismissal. Love this office, the staff is private, personal and professional. The Dr is superb and very thorough.

I had complained about my back pain. The Island Doctors x-rayed my back and told me I needed to get more exercise. My next doctor x-rayed my back, diagnosed me with arthritis in my hips and neck and hEDS syndrome. And more exercise could have caused an injury I might not have healed from. And that’s only one of about four reasons why I’ll never go back to Island Doctors. And it’s not the worst reason of the four. If there was no stars, that would be the rating. The amount of incompetence among staff and doctors is amazing. They have lost test results, maliciously and intentionally put my test months apart to drag out Medicare and they will send you to months of Physical Therapy when the know it will not help the outcome. Lots of fraud going on here. Or perhaps just lots of untrained staff. If you are in urgent need of attention, go somewhere else.
