About 5 years ago I was referred by a friend to Island Auto Repair (Spencer - owner). He and his staff have been attending to our vehicle maintenance ever since. They work with us on scheduling and always provide fair prices for work performed. On top of that Spencer helps keep me informed about my auto care in general. I heard he is soon to be celebrating his 38th anniversary year of being in business in Venice, FL. Congratulations!
Spencer, was honest and explained everything thoroughly. I was told by Nissan of Venice,that I needed a new AC compressor and that it would cost roughly $1,600. Spencer did a thorough inspection and told me that I did not need a new compressor but also showed me that everything Nissan said they did, to come to there conclusion was a lie. There was no sign that they even checked for a problem. They then told me they added free on which was a lie. Spencer was very helpful and got me in quickly. His schedule was full but he found the time to fit me. That was huge to me.
