RecommendedMy Maltese, Bailey, dislocated his right back knee initially but was able to pop it back in place. However, the next morning when he prepared to lay down with his back legs extended behind him, he yelped loudly and had popped it out again. Island Animal Hospital who is Bailey's vet was very responsive and I was able to have him checked out immediately. They gave me options for treatment and a plan if it persists. I am very satisfied with the care Bailey received.
Bear had his first appt with Island Animal Hospital for shots and a check up. The curbside assistance was awesome. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Bear was a happy pup after leaving his appt despite getting shots. Definitely will be back for his future immunization’s and well-doggie care 👍🏼
The Drs and staff at IAH are absolutely amazing. They have gone above and beyond for our family. When my dog had kidney stones, they worked out a plan for treatment, taking finances into consideration, and got her all taken care of. It took weeks for her to fully recover and about 6 visits during that time. They worked us in with absolutely no issue every single time and didn’t charge us for quick checks that helped to relieve her pain while passing stones. I can’t praise them enough. When my Casper was in pain .. they made time for him same day .. they were gentle and informative. We just moved here. They will be our choice as a regular veterinarian

I cannot forget that Island Animal Clinic stepped up to the plate when my regular vet would not make time for me mid day, during my most urgent need for help. The techs AND the vets at Island Animal went well beyond the call of duty and tended to us after hours rather than my having to go to the Merritt Island office. Since then I have continued to use their services and they are AWESOME. Compassion, convenience.......they are my people! For my cat and my two dogs.

the drive up service is fantastic. the staff are friendly and competent. even with the new distancing measures, I feel the kitties recieved the best care and the vet took the time to discuss the issues the babies were experiencing and the best measures to mitigate them.
We entrust all of our furkids to Island Animal & have for over a decade. Compared to some other vet offices, cost for certain services may be a tad higher. However, they are honest and everything is done to the highest of standards which gives us peace of mind ...which is priceless. 😊🐾❤️
