EXCELLENT!! MY first experience was with my cat, Miss Precious Diddle Hopper Duchess of Coquina Cove. She was their patience for several years and on 13 January 2016, at the age of 17, had to be "put down". EVERYONE was so KIND. In April 2017 I called the office asking for an OLDER dog. Scrappy (aka Little Boy Dog) had been left at their Cocoa Beach location. He immediately became MY DOG!! He receives excellent care at the Viera location. This was our first visit with our new rescue Baloo. Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment we walked through the door. Vet Tech Frank was very friendly and professional. Dr. Erin Coris took lots of time to listen to our concerns and to answer our many questions. We were so pleased with this visit and can only recommend Island Animal Hospital and staff !
Dr. Ian Birkbeck, DVM, is a remarkably compassionate and caring vet. We had to put our beloved cat Maxi down this week — he was nearly 20! — and Dr. Ian could not have been more helpful, sympathetic or concerned, both for Maxi's comfort, and ours. Warmly thank and recommend him to all pet owners.

They are the very best!! The doctors and the staff are incredible. They made the best of a horrible situation. My beloved dog had to be put to sleep and they were kind, sensitive and so compassionate. I can't thank them enough.
