Dr. Eltarawy is nice and seems caring. However, two problems led to me not going back: 1)He tried to give me medication I didn't need; I went to another doctor and he agreed. 2)I don't want to go to a doctor where a scribe sits in the corner typing while I'm having a personal conversation. It all felt very by the book.
I set up an appointment with the doctor for a recent diagnosis. I expected an in person visit. The office changed it to an online visit. I waited 45 minutes online. I called the Piedmont Healthcare office twice. The doctor never showed. The office never provided any information as to why he wasn't there or if he would attend the visit.
t has become very difficult to find doctors that actually care for their patients. Dr. Eltarawy seems to be a knowledgeable doctor but cares more about documenting the entire visit to justify his extremely unethical billing charges. After paying an additional doctor visit fee at a physical because of a preexisting blood pressure condition, Dr. Eltarawy said to renew the blood pressure medication, a return visit was needed in 6 months. I agree 1000% with all the good things other people have said. I had undergone a catscan and was only told "normal." He pointed out that it said I had a kidney stone, which is likely the cause of the abdominal pain I have had for months with no diagnosis. He is amazing, easily the best informed, most competent, and all-around best doctor I have ever had.
The most compassionate physician I have ever met. Excellent bedside manner. Highly recommended.
Dr Eltarawy has excellent bedside manner and is very knowledgeable and informative with his diagnosis. Wait time was only about 10 minutes I would recommend Dr Eltarawy to be your family Doctor.
