New management has taken over. They hand out eviction notices like candy. No warning, no email, just three days to comply or get out. It does not matter that we pay our rent on time and have done so for more than two years. Nor does it matter that their autopay system fails to accept payments at least once every quarter. Horrible management company
Not a security deposit, just a payment for updates and cleaning. They will take your whole security deposit no matter what you do, especially if you have a dog. Charged over $100 for a carpet cleaning fee despite the fact the carpets were spotless upon move out. They claimed this was a routine cleaning after each tenant moves out. Even though I brought up the fact that it is illegal to charge tenants for routine carpet cleaning they refused to care and wouldn’t even address the issue. Lived at Irving Heights and it was okay like 3ish stars until we received our move out bill. Despite the move out agreement stating to do light, which we did more than that, we were charged the higher end of the cleaning fee and were also charged $125 for a carpet cleaning fee because our emotional support dog that lived there for 5 months apparently left too much of an odor despite never peeing or anything on the carpet, just laying on it. This is not for an apartment but for the management. Annie was great: informative, helpful, and patient with me while I was choosing an apartment. I ended up renting closer to work, but I appreciated my touring experience with Urban Hive.
