My daughter has almost passed out, felt her throat closing, lightheaded, after very unneeded intense practices at volleyball , and still the coaches yell at the kids this place is terrible.These practices include many pushups for 12-13 year olds. I’ve been a member at Iroy Gym for the past three years, and I can confidently say that my experience has been far from positive. The biggest issue is the lack of equipment maintenance—machines break down frequently, and it takes forever for them to get fixed. This makes working out frustrating and inconvenient. Another major safety concern is that the staff uses a wired vacuum to clean while people are actively working out. It’s completely unprofessional and dangerous. Volleyball Players: Beware of this organization for volleyball teams. Protect yourself and your players, go elsewhere. The management of this organization is so disorganized, there is no team unity besides what the players and coaches create themselves. They do not care about their athletes at all, no matter how hard they work for the organization. The only good part of these teams was their coaches, who are absolutely amazing.
