I wish I read the IRoy volleyball reviews from other parents before signing up. They are all true and would have saved us a lot of time and money. The facility itself is great. Clean and well maintained. However, the volleyball program itself leaves much to be desired. We did not realize that try outs are private because there are no cuts made. My daughter has almost passed out, felt her throat closing, lightheaded, after very unneeded intense practices at volleyball , and still the coaches yell at the kids this place is terrible.These practices include many pushups for 12-13 year olds. I’ve been a member at Iroy Gym for the past three years, and I can confidently say that my experience has been far from positive. The biggest issue is the lack of equipment maintenance—machines break down frequently, and it takes forever for them to get fixed. This makes working out frustrating and inconvenient. Another major safety concern is that the staff uses a wired vacuum to clean while people are actively working out. It’s completely unprofessional and dangerous.
