First off, I want to state that my experience with Dr. DeRoock is not represented in this review. He has been absolutely wonderful to work with. My son is a patient here. I realize that most patients here are probably on Medicare but they seem to forget the non Medicare patients. My son waited weeks to get pain medication and over two weeks for some hydration IVs. As an old nurse , I don’t understand why everything moves so slowly. He meets weekly with the doctor yet never seems to get the things he needs. Then the next week they complain about his dehydration, etc. He uses the portal to no avail. Poor patient priorities!
Incompetent employees
I had a mixed experience here. Radiology Oncology was fantastic. Dr. Romney is a class act and the whole radiology team treated me wonderfully throughout my time with them. He was patient and kind while I was navigating the early days of my diagnosis and answered every question I had under the sun with compassion. The radiology department is why I tried to stick it out through a less than stellar experience with Medical Oncology.
