Dr. DeRoock was phenomenal. He always took time with me at my monthly appointments. Never rushing me and always making sure I understood my blood work numbers. The front staff was so kind and friendly; and supportive to my every need. The nurses in the treatment room always went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable when administering my chemo shots. I had some really bad days and they would sit and talk to me, which is what I needed. Ironwood gets an A++ from me. Thank you all.
This is Arne Hawkins with another save the bell moment by my wonderful support group of Dr. Bhalla, Jenny, and Brandy. A suspicious Xray by another medical professional was forwarded to Dr. Bhalla who immediately requested a CT scan to determine the problem. The problem turned out to be scar tissue from earlier treatments which put all of us at peace. This all occurred within just a few days giving us a chance to have a wonderful vacation without worry. Thanks Dr. Bhalla and staff for your prompt and great care!
In late July of 2024, I had a pancreatectomy/splenectomy. After the pathology report came back with a diagnosis of stage one pancreatic cancer, my surgeon recommended that I see Dr. Montripragada, an oncologist at Ironwood Cancer & Research Center in Gilbert. Ironwood Cancer Gilbert is FANTASTIC! They are always friendly and treat you like family. Dr. Bhalla and Brandy take such good care of me. I've been with Dr. Bhalla for 8 years, and didn't even change when I moved further away. Great care, great staff and great programs.
I’ve been going to ICRC for a few years now. Even though my reason for going is not the best, they have always made the experience as pleasant as possible. Jen, at the reception desk, is the first person I see and she sets the standard for how my visit will be. She is always very professional and extremely pleasant.
