When a dog is brought in to be seen for a sore from rubbing their face on a carpeted floor, the first question asked should not be “so do you want me to put her down?” She has a small sore that the owners want to have healed because they care about their animal. Who in their right mind would put a dog down for that reason? Very uncaring and unprofessional.
It's so comforting to know your dog loves going to the Vet. Bonus is they also do grooming and Barb does a fantastic job .
This review is from my parents.We have been taking our pets to ironstone for more than twenty years. Recently our Shih tzu needed surgery to remove stones from his bladder. We drove 178 miles to Dr Allan based on her reputation and we will return....because in addition to expertise...Dr Allen and her amazing staff treated us with caring hearts and obvious commitment to the animals they serve.I was so anxious about leaving my beloved dog-they provided comprehensive education, were honest and reassuring. Most importantly, Mary Jane was at ease....the neo knows! Thanks to all the wonderful people who took care of us.
The staff was friendly & kind to my Neopolitian Mastiff Mark despite him not being very receptive back. Dr. Allen has been a blessing for us when other vets have failed our sweet boy. We drove 3 hours each way to see her with our Mark & it was beyond worth it & we will be going back for continued treatment when need be. Anyone looking for a vet who truly understands the Mastiff breed, especially Neos, Dr. Allen & the staff at Ironstone is the place you're looking for.
