I was super disappointed in my experience. I checked the Facebook page and saw that U pick blueberries was starting at 9:30am. I loaded my three kids ages 6 and 19 months up and made the 30 minute trip to pick blueberries. We got our buckets and headed out to the U Pick area with another family. We were the first ones there and there was not a single blueberry to be picked. We walked from the back of the field to the front and there was nothing that was even close to being ready to pick. There is no way that anyone checked t... read more

Business response:

As someone who is highly allergic to poison ivy, I would not recommend Irons Fruit Farm. I went for a fun day of strawberry picking with my kids only to find the field completely overgrown. It was so bad I could barley see my 4 year old as the weeds were as tall as him! 24 hours later I wake up with poison ivy all over my legs and my arms. What was supposed to be a good time turned into now over 2 weeks of terrible poison ivy itching, a trip to the doctor, steroid injection and oral steroids. Very disappointing.

I has been there in the past when taking my special needs students on the hayrides. Irons Fruit Farm has haywagons that are adapted to accommodate wheelchairs. It has always been so fun to ride out to the field and pick pumpkins, but I especially enjoyed the the delicious complimentary apple donuts and cider. Today I took my daughter to Irons so she could see where it is and to buy some delicious apple donuts. ❤️🍩
