Extremely disappointed. Our family has been traveling to Irons for years to enjoy buying apples, honey, pastries and walking the unique corn maze themes of Bengals, Reds, Military, etc. only to find that this year's Western theme was identical to last year's. The corn was dried out and the maze wasn't challenging at all with cut throughs everywhere and dead and wilting corn stalks. An employee told us it's too much work for them to carve a new maze every year. Paying $57 for our family to go through that again was a huge let... read more
We took our kids there for a family fun and for a fresh apple cider, fresh donuts, maze, pumpkins, and hey ride!!!Also, some good music and games for kids....sometimes they cook barbecue!
Cider was right balance of sweet and tart. Love the cider donuts! Fun place to visit with the grandkids
Went Sunday 10/23/16 with family. We had great weather. The corn maze was fun. The bakery was my favorite part, the smells were to die for. I could eat everything there. I loved the warm, soft cinnamon/sugar donut. The kids loved the barrel ride, they rode it over and over. Only thing I didn't like was the pesty sweat bees that kept trying to steal my food! Lol. Will go again next year.
Fantastic overall atmosphere and the doughnuts are amazing. Took the hayride out to the pumpkin patch and there wasn't an intact pumpkin to be found. Kind of a bummer that we'll have to hit Krogers or somewhere else to get them. Lesson learned, don't wait till the week before Halloween if you want pumpkins from here.
I've gone to irons for the for there pumpkins since i moved to the area with my mom when i was 9 i now am a mother of for and love sharing the experience with my own kids great tradition to carry on lots of fum things to do for your little one and staff is super nice and accommodating we have a 8 month old daughter and you can't take your stroller to the pumpkin patch one of the employees moved our stroller to the exist for when we got off very thoughtful anyone who has a young one know that little thing's like that matter
There were very few pumpkins to pick from. No pumpkins in the field just along the edges of the patch. The bakery is excellent! We will probably try a different farm next year.
