Although this was my first visit at Ironbound, I felt like I had been a patient there for years. Between the friendly staff (who were extremely knowledgeable about my insurance benefits which is typically NOT the norm as I’m a NYC worker), the care and compassion of my hygienist and the expertise but down to earth nature of my dentist, I couldn’t have had a better experience. I am actually looking forward to my 6 month cleaning!
I had a great experience during my recent visit. I went in for a dental problem, and the staff took care of me quickly. Everyone was incredibly gentle and fast. Plus, there was very little wait time before I was seen. I highly recommend this clinic!
Unfortunately, my experience with the dental hygienist, Sandra, was very disappointing. Throughout my cleaning, I felt judged instead of cared for. She questioned why I hadn’t had a cleaning in a year, why I didn’t have an implant, and even asked if I knew how to keep my mouth open. Her attitude made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable during the entire visit. On the other hand, Dr. Peter is an excellent dentist and the best I’ve ever had.
