A beautiful restaurant, with exceptional food and excellent service.
Ok, I hate to.do this but a meal we had at Iron Tail was a complete disaster. 7pm on a Friday reservation, we show up promptly and out seated. We order a bottle of wine and some appetizers and ask for a few minutes to go over the menu to decide on entrees. About 10 minutes later, the wine comes out and we order our entrees. Everything is good so far. Out appetizers show up (fried zucchini blossoms and oysters) and they are very good. We finish our first glass of wine and wait for our entrees. And wait. And wait. Second time here (8/1/26} and everything has been a hit. Thrilled to have this place in the neighborhood (EV). Service has been perfect every time and the chef has a resume at all the old famous restaurants in BUF (Daffodils, John's Flaming Hearth, too many to list). Small menu because it's solid. Bartenders are the real deal and know how to keep a Buffalo conversation going. This place is overlooked and it shouldn't be.
