Was taking a trip across country when we found iron star; now literally one of my favorite restaurants in the US

Fantastic food, upscale atmosphere, & excellent service! We had several people check on us, telling us to have a good night when we left. The staff appeared to enjoy their job & had great teamwork.
Excellent food, great location and friendly wait staff. We were waited on by Kenny and he was very knowledgeable. We rarely eat dessert when the food is this good, so we ordered pie to go. It was awesome. We will definitely come back.
Since we were traveling through we were first timers to this place. We were looking for somewhere to try that was different from what we had eaten in the past week. After looking at the reviews we decided to give this barbecue restaurant a try. We were definitely not disappointed. The service was fast and courteous, the food perfectly prepared and it is a local restaurant...something we look for when traveling. We will definitely go back when we can.
Tyler at the bar was friendly and the sandwich with the slaw was amazing.
The best dinner, atmosphere and staff. Steaks are awesome.
Had the special, buffalo burger, and drinks suggested at the bar. Perfect first visit. With dessert on the house to top it off.
