Great location near the mountain, but our room could use a deep clean at a minimum, or a more likely a major renovation. Our room was fine at first inspection, but had standing water under the sink and dust in every place you looked. All the appliances are from the 1980s. Something in the room (Mold or dust) really set off my allergies. We did like the game room, although a lot of the games (Ping pong, air hockey, etc) could use some maintenance.
The top spot to stay at Winter Park Resort is a place with a heated pool, hot tubs, a gym, and direct access to the catwalk for skiing to the gondola. Opt for a remodeled room, many owners have upgraded their units, though some older (still decent) ones remain.
