Great bartender, I think his name was Alex. Stepped my date through available brews, she settled on the lovely #ViennaRedLager. Had the IHB app "Voodoo Shrimp" as a shareable. A lovely presentation (we had the sour cream drizzle on the side). Shrimp were lightly battered and cooked to perfection. One of our regular lunch stops,foods tasty but pricey ,beers fresh ,great views of The Christiana River and plenty of parking.
The food at Iron Hill is always excellent, but the highlight is the amazing variety of wheat beers. It's a must-visit whenever I come to Wilmington now. I'd never think that a watermelon wheat would be so good! Not too sweet -- just smooth.
Iron Hill is a very good and dependable choice. From the excellent beer choices to the always tasty food choices. Although the food is very good, I would like to see more small plates and appetizer choices on the menu, and I would like to see the menu change more often. The changes that I do see occur about twice a year and are small tweaks to the menu. Also, last year the upstairs deck was closed a lot. Fabulous place!! Outdoor deck was beautiful and the food so good. The banana cream pie in a jar is Devine
We were seated in the upper deck which was a new and pleasant experience. We all enjoyed our burgers, pulled pork and salads. Had a great server, Louis.

Ordered small strawberry salad, vegetable samosas, and Louisiana shrimp. Food was delicious and they were nice enough to put the salad into two bowls for us. Highly recommend this place! Food and service excellent. Also nice outdoor seating overlooking the river.

Always a great time when I go here. The staff sometimes seem a little befuddled on where to sit people and how but the food and atmosphere are worth it.
