Great Beer, Food Used to be Better Iron Hill serves excellent beers. The food menu is varied but the quality of the food has declined in recent years. It is not that the food is bad, it just is not as good as it was when the place first opened.
Outstanding Brews You cannot go to Newark and miss this great restaurant! Their selection of hand crafted beers is wide and varied. The Pig Iron Porter and Ironbound Ale are our favorites.
good burgers They have all lot of good food. Their appetizers are very good but I especially enjoy their burgers. The service is always outstanding and the atmosphere is great. All our meals have been very good. You can't go wrong. Parking can be a little difficult.
Favorite restaurant in Media I have been going to Iron Hill regularly (at least once a week) for the 3.5 years that I have lived in Media, and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. The food is always excellent, the portions are generous, the service is prompt and friendly, and the restaurant is clean (but not over-decorated).
great food and beer I've been going to iron hill since I was in college. The food is great and the beer is better. It's a bit pricey for the average college student - so it keeps the whole atmosphere a bit nicer and not a typical college bar.
Family Friendly This is our regular restaurant because it is really kid friendly. It has a great kids menu--a few things beyond the regular chicken fingers and hot dogs. The beer is pretty good. I usually stick with sandwiches or pizza. I think their entrees are overpriced and just so so.
Iron Hill The food here is fantastic and very reasonably priced. They have a great selection of beers, including a beer sampler where you can try a smaller glass of every brew they brew. This is a place where younger people tend to hang out. Sitting on the deck looking over the Christiana River is great and there is always plenty of parking (unless there's a baseball game going on).
It's Okay. While the place is very clean and the price is right, the food isn't the greatest. It could be better. They do have a nice assortment of beers there that hit the spot. The staff is very nice and very attentive. Parking is a killer.
sit down resterant that serves beer. Food is just alright there, nothing to write home about. The fact that they serve beer and have beer kegs in the resterant. Not the best tasting food, but I guess they figure if you had a few beers you wouldn't notice, Not a bad price.
