My experience here was good.
My experience here was good, so I thought. Cut my knee pretty bad at the river and came here since it was closest. Dr stitched me right up and sent me on my way. Without any antibiotics given. Next day, high fever and back to the ER. Turns out it was infected and possibly developing necrotizing fasciitis. Had to be transferred to another hospital and went through hell. So if anything happens and you’re out that way, don’t go here just because it’s the closest option, you’ll be dealing with it for a while after.
In 2022 I came down with pneumonia my son talked me into coming to Barnes St Peters. All they did was stabilize me pushed me out the door. They didn't like Humana. The next morning I was rushed to Iron County Memorial hospital they kept me in the hospital till all symptoms were gone and I was well. Believe it or not a week later I was bitten by a Texas Lonestar tick. It transfer Lyme disease to me. I was taken to same hospital.
