She milked my husbands visits for three months. Switched retina dr and on the first visit that dr told us the he should have had surgery back in December. I just hope she did not damage his eye. We would never recommend her. She would only do one thing per visit “ because insurance won’t allow to do two procedures the same day.” Which is not true. Excellent physician who has worked with me since my stroke in 2015. Professional treatment with close attention to my progress. Highly recommend Dr. Ahmed. Well organized staff who move patients through appointment queues with efficiency yet friendly treatment.
1st hand experience. Dr Irma Ahmed: She is Arrogant as heck. She hates to answer your question, and don’t want to be questioned. $ minded and Rude. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different doctor if you need to see ophthalmologist.
I'm very happy with the treatment.
I would not recommend Dr. Ahmed to anyone. She lacks professionalism and wait times at her office were outrageous! Most times I was seen over an hour after my appointment time. Also, I had a terrible experience with her billing department. They forgot to send a bill and then a year later called asking for payment and threatening to take me to collections even though they acknowledges it was their fault they forgot to send the bill. Her fees are also more expensive than other doctors in the area.
Several years ago my husband suffered a retinal detachment. Dr. Ahmed was able to save his vision in the eye even though it didn't look likely. She is still his doctor and is very caring and capable.
