Irish Imports This store doesn't exist anymore :-( I took the 38 all the way over to see what's there, and it's a hollow, empty shop. ;-( I'm guessing it happened recently, since someone commented on it back in January of this year ('08).

I'm looking for a place where I can buy Irish goods and possibly some good Irish Gaelic books as well.
My favorite Irish store in SF I went here years ago as it is my favorite store in all the city. I wanted to get a claddagh ring so my boyfriend and I went there. That day still has a place in my heart. The ring I am wearing now and I remember the day I got it, the loveliest man helped us out and was so pleasant and sweet. Being in the store makes me long for Ireland, it is so nice and has all you need. I will stop by on my next stop in SF. The Best Irish shop in the city Louis Roche has got to be the kindest, friendliest man you could meet. He always has a smile on when you walk through the door. I often enjoy chatting with him about the GAA matches in Ireland. Louis has done numerous things for the Irish Community in San Francisco. Imports from Ireland If you ever wanted imported items from Ireland, this is definitely the place to shop at. They carry different food items and merchandise. I stop in here every now and then to pick up a snack for the sweet tooth. I love the gummies that they sell. Once in awhile,their supply runs out but Louis (the owner) tells me when to stop back for a fresh supply. The do get busy at times and sometimes their inventory is gets low. I love to try new imported food especially from Ireland.
Get your Irish-fix here! Irish Imports and its proprieter, Louis Roche, have been an institution on Geary Blvd near Parker Ave for years. The shop is small but efficiently filled with all things Irish: from jewelry, t-shirts, music to candy bars, bake mixes and Irish puddings and sausages.
