I stayed there in 2019 and it was nice I thought. It was comfortable etc. Then I tried to get in in 2022 or so and I was frustrated with how the staff was being rude to me and asking me a bunch of questions and then today i called 4 years later wanting to go there again and a Paula called me and right away she had to bring it up and im thinking cant people just forgive and forget. I was going through some really stressful stuff that was triggering my bipolar disorder last year. I stayed here for about five days. All of the staff were incredibly supportive and helpful. It felt freeing to be able to move freely, cook my own food, leave and return, and have my own room: things that wouldn’t have been available to me if I’d gone to a psychiatric facility instead. I was hoping for a refuge and was met with despair. I was able to spend 2 nights there. On the 3rd I met and talked to the director. Do not express concern or make any suggestions or you will be asked to leave. Unfortunately, this event turned into her threatening to call the police on me. And I had 30 minutes to get out. What an incredibly disappointing experience when your pleading for help. FYI, if your disabled. The facility will not assist you with a bag up the stairs. They would prefer you cry in pain and vomit when yo... read more
