I have been seeing Dr. Gilbertson for the last 10 years and truly find him to be the best in San Diego. He not only spent time with me, but also answered all of my questions. He has done this time and time again for me and my family. He has coordinated my care with my oncologist and primary care specialist to ensure they knew of my various conditions. Not only is this Dr. a pill pusher, he is uneducated. If he doesn't know what to do, or what you have, he just simply says, "it's stress, I am 99.9% sure"! Or he say's, go see this specialist or this specialist". DO NOT USE HIM! Keep looking!
Dr. Smith seemed to be annoyed that I had come to his office to be evaluated for peripheral neuropathy. As I was walking out of his office he stated to my back that he thought all I have is "depression", which he documented in my patient chart. On my second visit I attempted to refocus Dr. Smith on the peripheral neuropathy that I wanted to be evaluated. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Lumkong for years. As his patient, he wants to know about all facets of your life. He treats the whole person. He is compassionate, thorough, and dedicated. He has called me very early in the morning and/or late at night with the results of tests. I wonder when he sleeps. I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an exceptional doctor.
We have been treated by Dr Carley for 18 years. He takes plenty of time to talk to patients and understand concerns as well as answer questions fully.He is a five in our book.
Dr. Ildesa is kind & caring and a wonderful physician. I've been going to her since she started working at Scripps Santee and I could ask for a better doctor.
Dr. Lumkong is an amzing Doctor but if you are an impatient person don't make an appointment at the end of the day. The fact is he takes time to listen and doesn't hestiate to refer to specialists if needed. I think he is so fantastic beginning the first of the year I will pay a lot more out of pocket rather than taking my chances on a new doctor.
I agree with the other. He is not helpful. He treats patients like they waste time. My bloodwork came back with high cholesterol and his written comment was "improve diet & retest in 3 months". Why is this guy a doctor?
After being with Dr. Proshkina for at least 5 yrs, after Dr Ryan left, I stayed with her. I AM A PATIENT advocate for my grown kids and all of my parents. MY kids and husband keep asking me WHY DO I STAY WITH HER?! Good question! Only because we have an understanding about eachother. BUT, sweet as she may appear, she is rude, does not listen, I call her "an in and out Dr".
