I saw Dr. Wu 2 days ago for perioperative pain plan ahead of TKA surgery on advice of my surgeon due to lack of analgesia with 5 previous surgeries since 2023, which led me to get pharmacogenetic testing and pharmacogenomic consult with UCSF - the results which I presented via hard copy at my visit and explained in detail the reasons I have difficulty metabolizing meds. I cannot believe she has not been fired yet for how she treats her patients. Absolutely ridiculous that UCLA allows her to continue to work there. Absolutely unbelievable. No more evidence or complaints are necessary. Stop patronizing patients by pretending to care. Show the community that you care by taking action. Just get rid of Dr. Wu. Every employee and every patient is longing for the day that happens.
My experience with Doctor Wu has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating, making her one of the least competent medical professionals I have encountered in my life. Her dismissive attitude and lack of empathy indicate a troubling absence of bedside manner, which is critical in the healthcare field. Zero empathy, very unhelpful, very expensive. What a waste of time and money. She literally said she doesn't know how to read a CT Scan
By Instinct, I think she is intelligent. However, what she shows you is that she doesnt care, listen, talk, advise, or give a cahoot. That is her. I finally switched doctors in the waiting bed the hospital for my final injection with her. She is a pain management doctor which means she deals with patients with chronic pain but she makes you feel like you are nagging and making you a big deal and just shrugs her shoulders for an injection.
