My initial visit I was pointing out that I needed to have the right side of my foot shave down. While I was there, she also noticed that my big toe has arthritis in it, which I never noticed, and it never bothered me, went into surgery and I waited multiple weeks and visits to ask again did she shave down the side of my foot and she said no she did the toe and I said that’s not what I came in for. This is not for Dr. Hernaez but for her staff. When I initially set up appointment they said they would call after this call to confirm insurance, time, etc. Why they can't verify at time of initial call is ludicrous. Then they called me week before my appointment to confirm everything about my appt. So naturally I schedule my workday accordingly. Now, just 2 hours before my scheduled and confirmed appt, lady calls to say your appt is confirmed but we don't accept type of insurance you have. It'll cost $150 for appt. And tha... read more
